Secret Caves
of Polignano.
Step where no boat can reach. A fifteen-minute immersive journey inside the sea caves of Polignano, in five languages. Even when the sea is closed or the weather isn't on your side.
Boats take you to the entrance. The headset takes you inside.
Polignano's sea caves are the most striking feature of this coast. But what you see from a boat is just the beginning: inner passages, low vaults, corners where the water meets the rock — they all stay out of reach of any boat, for safety and space reasons.
DeepWorldVR takes you exactly there. A fifteen-minute virtual reality journey in 360°, inside the caves, in total safety. No waves, no seasickness, no weather dependency.
You wear a standalone headset — no smartphone, no cables — pick your language from the virtual menu that appears in front of you, and off you go.

Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, better to. Slots are limited: message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm date and time.
Can we come in groups of more than two?
Yes. We currently have two headsets, so larger groups go in fifteen-minute shifts. Tell us how many you are when booking, we'll arrange the slots.
Can I bring children?
VR headsets are generally recommended from age ten to thirteen onwards. We assess case by case on arrival: if it's a fit, we'll work it out.
Is it ok for people prone to motion sickness or vertigo?
The journey is 360° but with no sudden camera movements. In case of severe motion sickness, vertigo, late-stage pregnancy or epilepsy, we recommend skipping it.
Does it work with prescription glasses?
Yes. The headsets work with mid-strength prescription glasses. Contact lenses always fine.
Is it suitable for non-Italian speakers?
Yes. At the start of the journey you pick your language from the virtual menu: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish. Audio and subtitles adjust automatically.
How long does it really take, from arrival?
Putting on the headset, adjusting focus and picking the language takes three or four minutes. The actual journey is fifteen minutes. From arrival to exit, about half an hour.
How do I pay?
On-site only. No online payments, no deposits. €15 per person.
